Language and Learning Skills Unit's Referencing Guide Acknowledging Sources

This guide: is sourced from the recommendations at the Criminology Department's A Guide to Essay Writing - "The Harvard Style of in-text referencing is the only acceptable referencing method to be adopted in this unit."

The Harvard system is commonly known as an Author/Date style, (it is not a footnote style, however Criminology use footnotes to provide extra information to the main text.) Cited references are:
