Sale of Artwork
The Art in the Library program is a community access program; it is not a commercial venture and does not engage in the sale of artwork. Library users who are interested in acquiring artwork can have their details passed onto the artists concerned to negotiate the sale or be given the artist(s) contact details.
Process:
- potential buyer contacts coordinator of the Art in the Library program expressing interest in a particular artwork;
- coordinator of the Art in the Library program informs potential buyer that Library is not involved in sale process; all artwork to be sold is negotiated directly between buyer and artist concerned.
