The ANU Japanese Studies Graduate Summer School (8- 11 February 2010)
As part of the Australian National University 's annual Asia Pacific Week, the Japanese Studies Graduate Summer School will be held again from 8-11 February 2010. It includes a program of intensive research presentations designed to bring together PhD and masters students from around Australia and other Asia-Pacific countries . We also give the opportunity to Honours students to observe the workshop without giving paper presentation in the hope that the experience will benefit their future studies.
We believe that t his event provides a wonderful opportunity for students to present their research findings and arguments in a friendly and professional environment and to develop an international and inter-disciplinary network.
A limited number of scholarships are available on application to cover participant s' accommodation, meal and travel costs (for observers, accommodation and meal costs only).
Details will shortly be posted on the website: http://asiapacificweek.anu.edu.au/
Applications close on 16 October 2009 Deadline extended to 31 October 2009.
