Industry Projects are research projects completed in the third year of the Bachelor of Applied Science (Horticulture) * Note: until 2003 the projects completed were called Horticultural projects.

Projects cover the areas of:

  • Assessment of the effectiveness of horticultural technique or practice or application of technology.
  • Evaluation of significant horticultural / heritage sites.
  • Planning for horticultural facilities; business activities and programs.
  • Case study analysis and development.
  • Horticultural industry analysis.
  • Technology development and implementation.


Project research areas are determined by the strategic research priorities of Burnley College. Industry Projects and Horticultural Projects are stored in the Reserve Collection of the Burnley Library.
