The Chemistry Library primarily supports the teaching and research activities of the School of Chemistry, which is one of the oldest and the largest in Australia.

The Chemistry Library has a bookstock of more than 10,000 volumes and the reference collection has over 500 volumes. The Chemistry Library also subscribes to major chemistry databases. The chemistry collection is moving steadily in the direction of electronic products and the majority of journals are available electronically. Print copies of journals are housed at the Library's Bundoora Store.

The library also services the information needs of the wider community and therefore, members of the public are welcome to use its resources and facilities.

The Chemistry Library is located on the ground floor of the School of Chemistry Building (West Wing), Masson Road, Parkville Campus. (Melway 571, G11, building 154)
