Inter-campus services
Students and staff members may request books, photocopies of items held at other campuses of the University and not able to be requested via Request Circles (e.g. journals, high use books etc at this page), or media items held at other campuses of the university to be delivered to University of Melbourne libraries at the following campuses:

Requesting books
Books can now be requested directly from their WebOpac catalogue record, by selecting the Request icon at the top of the screen. See information on requesting books via the web catalogue.

Requesting media items
At this time media items cannot be requested through the catalogue to be sent to another campus. If you wish to arrange for a media item to be picked up from another University of Melbourne library at one of the following campuses Burnley, Creswick, Dookie or Werribee (Veterinary Science) please email your request to lkilby@unimelb.edu.au.

Who can use the service?
This service is available to all University of Melbourne staff and students.
Does it cost anything to request photocopied material?
Photocopies are provided free-of-charge.
Where do I collect the material that I have requested?
Requested books will be delivered by courier to the selected library.
Photocopies and media will be delivered to the library of the campus at which you are enrolled. For Parkville students the collection point for these materials is the Baillieu Library Loans Desk.
Students will be notified when the material has arrived and is available for collection from the librarian.
How long does it take for requested items to arrive?
In general, materials will be available for collection at the requesting library within a matter of days. The exact time taken to transfer materials depends on courier delivery schedules and other factors outside the library's control.
