Requesting copies or media from another campus

Requesting Copies

Students and staff can request copies from journals or books in Reserve/High Use collections at other campuses. Copies are provided free of charge. Usually your copies will be available for collection at the library you select within a few working days.  PDFs, where available, will be delivered within 24 hours where possible.

To request books from another campus please visit this webpage on requesting items in the catalogue.

PDFs

Some campuses are able to provide scanned copies in pdf format. This is the default format for all items requested from Dookie, Creswick, Burnley, Lenton Parr, Baillieu and Biomedical libraries.

Collecting copies

Photocopies will be delivered to the library you select on the request form and you will be emailed when they are ready to collect. For requesters who select to collect at Parkville, the collection point is the Baillieu Library Service Desk. Copies in PDF format will be emailed to the email address specified on the request form.

Requesting media items

Media items cannot be requested in the catalogue to be sent to another campus. If you require a media item from another University of Melbourne branch library (except Lenton Parr Library and the Louise Hanson-Dyer Music Library) please email your request to ic-loans@unimelb.edu.au.
