About the Giblin Working Papers Collection

Working papers, also known as research papers or discussion papers, are draft forms of journal articles. A working paper may also contain more detailed data than is available in the published version. The Giblin Economics and Commerce Library maintains a collection of working papers on the second floor. All series currently received are held for between 2-5 years only with the exception of papers from the Faculty of Economics and Commerce at the University of Melbourne which are held permanently. The collection is shelved alphabetically by name of institution. Most of the series in the collection are indexed in the Giblin Working Papers database.

Many working paper series are no longer being kept in paper because they are now available online. For further information on the Giblin Working Papers collection check the catalogue, or contact the Information Desk.
