Engineering Library RelocationFriday 6 July 2007 was the last day of business for the Engineering Library in Building Block A. The Faculty of Engineering will soon begin building a new Student Learning Centre in this space. Engineering library collections are now relocated as follows: Reserve and Reference books - Baillieu Library The Old Quad building is located between the Student Union and south lawn, building 150, map ref G15 on this campus map (PDF, 375kb). The library's Engineering collections cover the broad fields of Engineering and Computer Science with special strengths in the areas of alternative energy technologies, transport engineering, soils and foundations, engineering materials, hydraulics and dynamics. Other areas of development include biotechnology, computing, environmental engineering, manufacturing engineering, communications and photonics. |
