Text of Poem

A rich man needs not work
by the sweat of his brow
but that doesn't mean he wouldn't know how

Riches are often a nuisance to hold
for nothing's as heavy as sacks full of gold
but still heavier far is a laden mind
for which even gold cannot solace find.

Ella Grainger (1889-1979)
