Hoard House
Hoard House is a full-colour news bulletin published regularly by the Grainger Museum. It features a range of articles focusing on information, news and current research relating to the Museum's collections, resources and events.
The term Hoard House derives from Percy Grainger's 'Nordic' English word for museum: "past-hoard-house". Grainger also used other, similarly idiosyncratic, expressions when referring to museums such as "hoard-hall", "hoard-show" and "past-hoardery".
