Media Information and Communication Technologies Group (MICTG)

Scope and purpose of group

Provide a forum for sharing and developing cooperation and collaboration within Higher Education media and audiovisual library collections and services in Victoria. Specific emphasis will be placed on information and communication technologies as they relate to media and audio visual collections and services.

Membership

The core membership of this group will be staff that either work in or contribute to the provision of media and audio visual services in Higher Education libraries in Victoria. It is anticipated that the membership will include a broad spectrum of skills from and expertise from library, information technology and technical areas.

Meetings

Minutes to be taken on a rotation basis and distributed via email and on the webpage.
It is anticipated there will be about 3 meetings per year and meetings will be held at different venues each time
Agenda items from members are welcomed and proposed agendas will be sent a week prior to the meetings.
