Go to the library catalogue http://cat.lib.unimelb.edu.au/

Once you have done this you will start to receive automatic emails with all new videorecording (dvd and vhs) titles added to the collection. Alerts are automatically sent to the email address in your patron record every Monday morning. If you no longer wish to receive alerts tick the searches for removal and click update list.

Specific title alert

If you want to be notified by email as to the arrival of a specific new video/dvd title you will need to add specific keyword/s from the title.

New library materials list on library catalogue

A weekly list of new library resources can now be accessed via the library catalogue. The list contains new library materials from the University of Melbourne Library Collections*. The list is updated weekly and is organised in Dewey subject number order.

For example Feature Films has a call number of 791.4372 and will be found by going to the category for the 700 - 799 Art, Architecture, Music, Cinema and browsing through the titles. Videos are indicated after the title with [videorecording].

The best way to browse through the list is go to a particular category open the first title entry then select the next record button at the top left handside of the page.

* Collections not included: Law, East Asian, Maps, Mathematics and Special Collections.
