Named for Louise Hanson-Dyer, 1884-1962, our collections support the teaching and research programmes of the Faculty of Music at the University of Melbourne. Collections broadly cover the history and research of western art music with special strengths in the areas of Musicology, Ethnomusicology, Composition, Performance, Music Education and Music Therapy. Depending on your research topic, there is also much useful material in a number of other collections of the University Library.
