Named for Louise Hanson-Dyer, 1884-1962, our collections support the teaching and research programmes of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music at the University of Melbourne. Collections broadly cover the history and research of western art music with special strengths in Musicology, Ethnomusicology, Composition, Performance, Music Education and Music Therapy.

The Lenton Parr Music, Visual and Performing Arts Library, located at the Southbank campus also supports the Conservatorium, with extensive performance, composition and musicological collection, and multi-disciplinary resources in the visual and performing arts.
