    A website of the fulltext to MuSICA Research Notes. MRN was published in nineteen issues from Spring 1994 through Summer 2001 and was a newsletter of analysis and commentary on the broad field of research on music and behavior, including evolution, brain mechanisms, child development, perception, learning, memory, performance, health and related topics. The author of all material is Dr. Norman M. Weinberger. Includes a subject index to full-text articles.
  • MedTerms Medical Dictionary, a free e-encyclopedic dictionary designed for use by anyone concerned with health issues.
    This site contains over 9,000 entries covering standard medical terms as well as pertinent scientific terms, abbreviations, syndromes, eponyms, and medical history related to medicine and the biomedical sciences.     "Designed to extend the Thesaurus Musicarum Latinarum and to continue the endeavor of capturing all texts on music theory and aesthetics in electronic form.     A searchable database of the entire corpus of Latin music theory written during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.

    "Designed to extend the Thesaurus Musicarum Latinarum... Traités français sur la musique focuses on major treatises written in French, allowing them to be downloaded and browsed. Searching capacity will be added in the future.     The Naxos collection, including both classical and world music, is available for listening at a listening station on campus or from any computer with internet access via remote login.
  • Smithsonian Global Sounds. (restricted - University of Melbourne only)
    Online recordings of the world's musical and aural traditions. Included are the published recordings of the Smithsonian Folkways label and the archival audio collections of Folkways Records, Cook, Dyer-Bennet, Fast Folk, Monitor, Paredon and other labels. Also music recorded around the African continent for the International Library of African Music (ILAM) at Rhodes University as well as material collected on the South Asian subcontinent from the Archive Research Centre for Ethnomusicology (ARCE), sponsored by the American Institute for Indian Studies.
