Special Collections

Copying Services

Books or Archival Material

Self-copying of Special Collections is not allowed. All copying orders must be processed through the Cultural Collections Reading Room. Prepayment is required and requests must comply with current copyright regulations.

Photography and digital scanning can be arranged on request and restrictions may apply to the copying of unpublished material. For conservation reasons, copying requests of fragile items may be refused.

Theses

University of Melbourne theses may be photocopied either partially or as a whole.

If you are an external student or researcher requesting a copy of a thesis for your own use, please use this Request Form.

If you are requesting a copy of a thesis to be included in a Library collection, please use this Request Form.

Both forms include a copyright declaration and details of charges and methods of payment. Completed forms may be returned by fax or regular post.

Please note: an invoice will not be issued for thesis orders; all orders must be prepaid by cheque or credit card.
