Before importing, do a search for all colons (:) in Word and replace each one with a colon and a space (: ). EndNote requires at least one space after the tag to identify the tag. The data for this database does not normally contain that space, so it must be added before importing. You may also need to do another search to look for a colon and two spaces (: ) and replace it with a colon and a single space because one of the fields has a space after it. When searching for the colon, copy and paste it from the text. Word does not seem to recognize the colon used in the document to be a standard colon for some reason.
