Upgrading EndNote
After upgrading
- Copy any changed output styles, filters or connection files that you have written, edited or obtained from elsewhere from the previous EndNote version's directory to the new EndNote directory. There will be separate directories for Styles, Filters and Connections. It is not necessary to copy unchanged files.
- Uninstall the previous version of EndNote.
- After installing an EndNote toolbar should appear in Word. Sometimes the toolbar fails to load automatically. For a solution for various versions of Word see http://www.endnote.com/support/faqs/CWYW/faq1.asp.
