Requirements

Overdue items

From April 9th, 2009, the University Library is trialling a change in library policy, and will allow renewals of 28 day items that are past their return date by up to 7 days - in situations that fit the above requirements

Restricted loans, such as reserve, overnight or 7 day loans, cannot be renewed once overdue and should be returned to their library branch. For special circumstances contact a library officer.

Even when you do renew overdue items, fines will still be added to your libary record for each day late after the day the item was due to be returned. Fines that have reached or exceeded $15.00 must be paid.
See FINES webpage for more information.

When

For 28 day books, renewals will be accepted one week before due date, for all other items check with the library or collection concerned.

How often

28 day books can be renewed four times, before they need to be returned to the library, for all other items check with the library or collection concerned.
