Search for journal title: all formats

GIVEN: a journal title
SEARCH: the catalogue for that title in any format

1. Go to the catalogue Title Search screen [Title search]
2. Search by title - key in the exact title of the journal
   e.g. "Journal of atmospheric and oceanic technology "
3. Check the search results
   The journal could be available in print and electronic versions
   • Print - the entry has a location code and date range available; e.g.
     Location: UniM EarthSci P (Earth Sciences library periodicals)
     LIB. HAS: v.7-v.20, 1990-2003 (all issues published between 1990 and 2003)
   • Electronic - the location is "UniM INTERNET resource" and the title includes "[electronic resource]"
     e.g. "Journal of Atmospheric and Oceanic Technology [electronic resource]"
4. Check which volumes are available
   If the volume you need is available
   • Print - access the title at the library branch indicated
     Photocopy article(s) in accordance with copyright legislation
   • Electronic - view and print
     or send to your e-mail if the option is available

GIVEN: a journal title...
SEARCH: an index for the latest electronic version

1. Go to Subject Resources@Library homepage - available via the Library homepage
2. Select the appropriate faculty/subject (e.g. Geomatics@Library)
3. Select "Key resources" (e.g. Key resources in Geomatics)
4. Choose an index
• See the accompanying guide
• Login to index (using your name and barcode number) when requested
5. Search for the title of the journal required.
6. View and print
   (or send to your e-mail if the option is available)
